LoreKeep Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Astrynn (“Astrynn,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use LoreKeep, including its story-bible, worldbuilding, organizational, subscription, and AI-assisted consistency features.

By using LoreKeep, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy. This policy applies to LoreKeep and related support services, but not to third-party websites or services governed by their own policies.

Information You Provide

We process information you choose to enter into LoreKeep, such as project names, characters, locations, worldbuilding entries, plot structures, timelines, relationships, notes, tags, and text submitted for consistency analysis.

We also process information you send when contacting support, including your email address, message, and any attachments or diagnostic details you choose to provide.

Automatically Collected Information

LoreKeep may receive limited technical information needed to operate and improve the app, such as app version, device and operating-system information, language, general usage events, crash data, and diagnostic logs.

When you purchase a subscription, the applicable app marketplace and our subscription-management provider may provide purchase status, product identifiers, renewal status, and an anonymous or pseudonymous customer identifier. We do not receive your full payment-card number.

AI Consistency Features

When you choose to use an AI-assisted feature, the text and related project context necessary to perform your request may be transmitted to an AI service provider for processing. Do not submit information you do not want processed for that purpose.

We use submitted content to return the requested analysis, operate the feature, maintain safety and reliability, and troubleshoot problems. Astrynn does not claim ownership of your creative work merely because you use LoreKeep.

How We Use Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve LoreKeep.
• Save, organize, display, and analyze the content you request.
• Manage subscriptions and restore purchases.
• Respond to support and privacy requests.
• Detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical failures.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.

How Information Is Shared

We may share information with service providers that perform functions on our behalf, such as app hosting, database services, analytics, crash reporting, subscription management, customer support, and AI processing. They may process information only for the services they provide to us and subject to their contractual obligations.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, in connection with a business transaction, or with your direction or consent. We do not sell your personal information for money.

Storage and Retention

Project data may be stored on your device and, where LoreKeep provides syncing or account-based storage, on systems used to provide those features. Retention depends on the type of information and why it is needed.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal obligations. Deleting the app does not necessarily cancel a subscription or delete information stored outside the device.

Your Choices and Rights

You may edit or delete project information using available app controls. You may manage or cancel subscriptions through the marketplace where you purchased them.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about processing. To submit a privacy request, contact privacy@astrynn.com. We may need to verify your request.

Children’s Privacy

LoreKeep is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of this policy, contact us so we can review and address the issue.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Processing

Service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have data-protection laws different from the laws where you live.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as LoreKeep changes. We will revise the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when required by law.
